
Unlike traditional stretching, which often focuses on isolated muscles and can feel forced, Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a gentle, table-based system that treats the body as a whole. Brenda focuses on the fascia; the connective tissue that wraps around every muscle, bone, and nerve. By using rhythmic, wave-like movements and gentle joint traction, she creates space within the body to allow for effortless movement and improved circulation.

FST works by "down-regulating" the nervous system, which prevents the body’s natural protective reflex from tightening the muscles during a stretch. By calming the stress response first, Brenda can access deeper layers of tissue and joint capsules that traditional stretching simply cannot reach. This results in an immediate increase in mobility, a significant reduction in chronic pain, and a feeling of "lightness" throughout the entire body.

To ensure a full, unrestricted range of motion during your FST session, please arrive in comfortable, loose clothing (such as joggers or gym shorts). Restrictive clothing are not recommended, as Brenda Banning will be moving your body through the planes of motion (sagittal, frontal, transverse) to achieve the best results.
